The putty molds to my ears in seconds and stays put all night, so I finally sleep through my neighbor's barking dog. Waterproof too, so I've been using the same pair at the pool without any irritation.
These work well for blocking out my husband's snoring, and the moldable putty seals better than the foam ones I used to buy. Only gripe is that they pick up a bit of lint before I get them in my ears, but for the price and being hypoallergenic, I can't complain.
The moldable silicone does seal out snoring noise pretty well, though it gets a bit sticky on my fingers when I try to shape it. It stays put all night, which is the main thing I needed.
